This morning I when I woke up my usual routine started. I dragged my sleepy head to my computer. I wrestled my hands into the kitchen cupboards, and made a cup of coffee. I then put on some anime, and numbly watched te pictures while my mind slowly made sense of the subtitles.

At the college I'm studying at, I've started meeting a lot of people who are interested in this genre. I mainly know guys that are into their anime, along with gaming, programming and other daily habits involving technology. Putting all this aside, in the early hours of the morning...I found that listening Japanese through my headphones was somewhat calming. Unlike English, Japanese has a soft texture to it, occaisonally punctuated by prickles of emotion. It's a delicate, but at the same time, very precise language.
